Belford A. Miller
August 15, 1912 - February 24, 2010

Belford A. Peck Miller, age 97, formerly of the Muncie Yorktown area, died Wednesday, February 24, 2010 at the Summit Convalescent Center. Peck loved his job at Delco Remy Anderson. He enjoyed playing the organ, bowling on leagues with his wife and swimming. He was an alternate at one time for the Olympic Swim team. He loved spending time with his grandchildren.

He was the son of the late William Miller and the late Ilah (Davis) Miller. He was born on August 15, 1912 in Muncie, Indiana. He graduated from Yorktown High School, was a self taught Engineer and designed the Kanasas Delco Plant. He married Margaret Legg on October 2, 1937. She preceded him in death in 1999.

He was preceded in death by his son, Jerry M. Miller 1 brother Robert Miller and 1 sister Samatha Miller.

Arrangements are being handled by Armes-Hunt Funeral Home, 415 S. Main St., Fairmount, IN The family will received friends from 1-2 PM on Friday February 26, 2010. Funeral Service is immediately following at 2PM at the funeral home. with Pastor Jason Denniston officiating. Interment will be at Elmridge Cemetery, Muncie, IN

Memorial contributions may be made to the Summit Convalescent Center or Southern Care Hospice in care of the funeral home. Peck's family would like to extend a special thank you the the Summit Convalescent Center, Southern Care Hospice and Dr. John Carter for the loving care they gave him.
