Mary Ruth Record, age 82, formerly of Fairmount, died Saturday, February 20, 2010, at University Nursing Center in Upland, IN. Mary Ruth had previously worked for Dr. Charles Yale, Fairmount and was a member of Grant United Methodist Church and also a member of the Fairmount Order of Eastern Star. She enjoyed doing crafts, gardening and working in here flowers.
She was born November 6, 1927 at Kokomo, IN to the late Lester and Hazel (Gentry) Dawson.
She married Loren W. Pete Record April 28, 1946 at Greentown, IN and he preceded her in death March 11, 2008.

Monelle McQuiston, preceded in death.
Grandchildren: Sarah (Jordan) Spaw, and Jill Woodward, Kendallville, Shayne (Brandi) Record and their children Josie, Kayvan, and Kirsta, Flora, IN Shawn (Shannon) Record and their children, Stephen and Riley, Lafayette, IN. Kelly (Eric) Elkins and their children, Clayton and Katie, Fairmount, IN Amy (Nathan) Scott and their children Avery and Quinn of Rock Island, IL and Lori (Dan) Mucha and their children Sophia and Sasha of Seatle, WA.
Funeral service will be 2:00 PM Wednesday February 24, 2010 at Armes-Hunt Funeral Home, 415 S. Main St., Fairmount, IN with Dr. Constance Cherry officiating. Interment will be in Park Cemetery, Fairmount, IN Friends may call at the funeral home Tuesday February 23, 2010 from 4-8 PM
Memorials may be made to the Grant United Methodist Church or to the Alzheimer Unit at University Healthcare Center, Upland, IN in care of the funeral home.
