Diane "Jeanne" Peterson
February 5, 1942 - February 4, 2010

Diane Jeanne Peterson, age 67, of Fairmount, IN, died Thursday, February 4, 2010. Jeanne recently retired from the Fairmount United Methodist Church where she was the secretary and faithful member. Jeanne had also been employed by Driskills Market. She enjoyed reading mysteries and knitting.

She was the daughter of the late Russell Collins and Marjorie (Snodgrass) Dismuke. She was born on August 15, 1942. She married Eugene D. Peterson on May 24, 1975. He preceded her in death in 2003.

Arrangements are being handled by Armes-Hunt Funeral Home, 415 S. Main St., Fairmount, IN where the family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM, Sunday, February 7, 2010. Funeral service will be at Armes-Hunt Funeral Home at 10:00 AM, Monday, February 8, 2010, Rev. Amy Covington officiating. Interment will be at Park Cemetery at a later date.

Memorial Contributions may be made to the Fairmount United Methodist Church in care of the funeral home.
