Oscar Stevenson, age 72, of Elwood, IN, died Monday, February 1, 2010, at VA Northern Indiana Health Care Center in Marion, IN. Oscar was employed by Thompson Comsumer Electronics as a production worker for 34 years and had also worked at General T.ire. He was a member of Elwood Baptist Church. He enjoyed fishing and boating, playing the Guitar and his grandchildren.
He was the son of the late William McKinley Stevenson and the late Myrtle (McGlothin) Stevenson. He was born in Vanceburg, KY on September 25, 1937. He served in the Navy and the National Guard.

He was preceded in death by 2 sisters; Katherine McKinney and Lucy Stevenson and 2 brothers; Herb and Walter Stevenson
Arrangements are being handled by Armes-Hunt Funeral Home, 415 S. Main St., Fairmount, IN where the family will receive friends from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Wednesday, February 3, 2010. Funeral service will be at Armes-Hunt Funeral Home at 10:00 AM, Thursday, February 4, 2010. Interment will be at Park Cemetery, Fairmount, IN
Memorial Contributions may be made to the Disabled Veterans in care of the funeral home.
