Sharon K. Thompson
July 7, 1942 - January 29, 2010

Sharon K. Thompson, age 67, of Fairmount, Ind., died Friday, January 29, 2010 at Marion General Hospital. Sharon was a bartender at Northside Inn in Martinsville, IN for 16 years and for Transitional Services for 5 years.

She was the daughter of the late Denzil Thompson and the late Eva (Clark) Thompson. She was born on July 7, 1942 in Marion, IN. She graduated from Fairmount High School in 1960.

She loved country music and enjoyed playing the guitar and spending time with her sisters and many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. She was an avid Colts, Pacers and Cubs fan. She enjoyed watch all kinds of sports.

Brother-in-law-Wilbur Justus of Fairmount, Ind.

Many special friends including Peggy Williams.

She was preceded in death by Bill and Norma Wigner, a sister Barbara Justus, brother-in-law Milton Dunham, and brother-in-law Gordon Stace.

Funeral service 10:00 AM Tuesday February 2, 2010 at Armes-Hunt Funeral Home, 415 S. Main St., Fairmount, Ind. with Revs. Charles McCallum and Duane Seittz. Interment will be at Park Cemetery in Fairmount, Ind.

Friends may call Monday February 1, 2010 from 4-8 PM at the funeral home.

Memorial Contributions may be made to the American Legion Post 313 Auxiliary c/o the funeral home.
