"Patty, I was so saddened to read of your mother's death. I have thought of you so often over the years and wondered where you and your family were, and what they were doing. You folks were some special people when you lived in Lincolnville. What a ball player brother, Jim, was as well as Dewayne. Have fond memories of all of you. My thoughts, prayers, and sympathy are with your father and siblings and family who bear this loss. Love, Sharon"

"Mr. Cobb, We are so sorry to hear of Geraldine's passing. We've thought of you guys often since we've moved. We enjoyed having you as neighbors, and we'll always fondly remember our chats across the fence, seeing Geraldine in the backyard weeding her flowers, and seeing you both tending to the big garden you guys always had. Our thoughts and prayers are with you."
