"Condolences to the Family, I have not met the family personally however I was very sorry to read of the loss in your family, may the tender mercy that God has always shown be with you now so you will know that you are not alone and may the prayers of others help in some small way to bring you strength and comfort and courage each day. When we lose someone we love the loss seems too great to bear. However Jesus gave his own perfect life as the basis for removing from mankind the curse of imperfection, sickness and death. A comforting thought that I found in the bible says, Soon God will wipe out every tear from our eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away... Revelation 21:4 I hope it will give the family comfort too my deepest sympathy to the family."

"Sincere sympathy to Shirley and Family for your loss. We were greatly saddened to hear of his passing. He will be thought of and missed on campouts and other scouting events. Dick is in a better place and his body is at rest now. I remember all of us packing all the stuff up going to a campouts or summer camp. The bologna and cheese sandwiches and playing cards. Thinking about all the fun times and late nights traveling to Ft.wayne for the hockey games. Lots of memories flood my mind when I think back. Dick was a huge part of my life and he will be missed. I am sorry we will not be able to attend his service. The family is in our thoughts and prayers. Garry, Paige, Thomas & Ashley"
