Upland: Raymond "Gene" Eugene Mittank, 82, passed away at 1:36 a.m. Monday at University Nursing Center. He was born in Lawrenceburg the son of the late Raymond Paul and Blanche Irene (Fewel) Mittank. He attended Jefferson High School. Mr. Mittank retired in 2002 from the City of Marion. Survivors include his wife, Sandy (Wolverton); a daughter, Cynthia Mittank, Marion; a sister, Julie (Ted) Wright, Upland; two step daughters, Lynn (Raymond) Bair, Catherine Collins; six step grandchildren, Gage, Kyla, Anthony, Holly, Matthew, Megan; nieces and nephews, Thad (Cecelia) Wright, Sheryl (Jay) Jones, Mike (Penny) Wright, Robin (Teresa) Wright, and Cindy Wright.
