Karen L. (Hess) Tutoli, 44, passed away unexpectedly at 2:30 p.m. Saturday at I.U. Medical Center in Indianapolis, Indiana. She was born in Marion the daughter of David and Barbara (Kershner) Hess, they survive in Upland. She married Peter D. Tutoli on December 8, 1990 in Upland. They made their home in Mooresville, Indiana. Karen graduated from Eastbrook High School in 1982, and worked as a teller at Indiana Federal Credit Union at Ball Memorial Hospital, Muncie, Indiana, and later in Indianapolis before becoming incapacitated with multiple sclerosis. In addition to her husband and parents, Karen is survived by siblings, Dwight (Kim) Hess, Andrews; Dan (Ana Maria) Hess, Lutz, Fla.; Kirsten (Jerry) Roberts, Upland; Kerri (Hess) Bowser, Hartford City; Kelly (Tom) Jensen, Upland; Kathryn (Hess) Purdy, Fort Wayne; Doug Hess (Monica Adkins), Gas City; and Darrin (Heidi) Hess, Wooster, Ohio; parents-in-law, Peter and Ann Tutoli; sisters-in-laws, Lynn (Steve) Petrosino and Shirley (Gary) Meili; 20 neices and nephews and four great nieces and nephews.
