August 17, 1965 - December 1, 2007
David E. Wimmer, 42, passed away unexpectedly at the Bluffton Regional Medical Center early Saturday morning. He was born in Hartford City the son of the late Charles and Billie (Stanley) Wimmer. He attended Eastbrook School. He was a special person with a great sense of humor. He ejoyed his friends at his group home in Berne and was always anxious to return there after a visit with family. He enjoyed his job at Bi-County Services in Bluffton. Survivors include a brother, Andy, Upland; three sisters, Susy (Peter Gentry), Jacksonville, FL, Kathy (Jerry) Lents, Upland, Lisa (B.J.) Roberts, Hartford City; a niece, Holly Roberts, and a nephew, Jared Wimmer. Memorials may be made to his group home, 423 Windridge Road, Berne, IN 46711.
