John N. Moore
December 18, 1910 - November 28, 2007

Upland: John N. Moore, 96, passed away in Elkins, W.V. early Wednesday morning. He was born in Summitville, the son of the late John and Verda (Tomlinson) Moore. Mr. Moore was an inspector for Warner-Gear from 1928 until his retirement in 1972. He was a WW II veteran. He had lived in Madison and Grant Counties most of his life until moving to W. Virginia to be close to his son. He was a member of the Warner-Gear Sympathy Club. Survivors include, a son, John (Donna) L. Moore, Elkins, W.V.; siblings: Juanita (Ralph) Burns, Matthews, Patty (Jack) Cahoon, Kennesaw, Ga., Brother-in-law, Alvin Sweeney, Palm Bay, Fl.; four grandchildren, Marlamae Berkes, Maryann Barth, John Parker Moore, Rex Allen Moore; and seven great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Mae Belle (Saathoff), his second wife, Capitola; a sister Dorothy Sweeney, two brothers, Loy and Roy Moore.
