"What an hugh impact John had on all our lives in such a big big way! He was always watching over us, protecting us, trying to teach us to be smart and wise. Always there coming to our rescue near and far. He had this tough guy exterior but underneath it all, his friends saw his true self, his very real raw and personal sweet self. He loved deeply and truly and with his whole heart! He was one of the greatest friends Ive ever known. He will always be remembered and celebrated for the kind heart he was. Im so sorry friends we share this common bond of sadness over loosing our dear friend. Praying for peace and comfort for John's precious children and all his family and friends ! Unil we meet again. Love deeply, make the most of every day and seek to know and trust Jesus with your hearts and souls for heaven awaits us all "

"My daughter dated John when they were both in high school. He and I had a good relationship. Even though they broke up after a couple of years, John brought me a plant or flowers every Mothers Day for about 15 years. Even though I saw him sporadically over the last 20 years, we were always glad to see each other, he always greeted me with that beautiful smile. RIP Apple Ass"
