Mrs. Gladys L. (DeMoranville) Carveiro, of Middleboro died unexpectedly Friday, April 15 in Morton Hospital. She was the beloved wife of Robert Carveiro, Sr. She was born 73 years ago in Taunton, the daughter of the late Gerald and Evelyn (Wilbur) DeMoranville. She was educated in Taunton and had been a Middleboro resident for most of her life. Prior to her retirement, she had been employed as a Certified Nurses Aide at the Oak Hill Nursing Home in Middleboro for many years. Gladys was devoted to her husband and children. She enjoyed fishing and visiting Plymouth and Cape Cod. In addition to her husband, she leaves: 1 son: Robert Carveiro, Jr. and his wife, Allison of Wareham; 4 daughters: Deborah Turcotte and her husband, Gary of Middleboro, Doreen Newcomb of Taunton, Darlene Tanenbaum and her husband, Stephen of Taunton, and Diane Bohmiller and her husband, Fred of Connecticut; 2 sisters: Bernice and Faye; 12 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. She was also the sister of the late Gerald DeMoranville and the late Dorinda Perry. Funeral services will be private at the convenience of the family. Visiting Hours are respectfully omitted. Arrangements are under the direction of The Riendeau-Mulvey Funeral home of Taunton.
