Mr. Charles M. MacLeod, of Taunton died Monday, August 25 in the V.A. Medical Center, Brockton, following a lengthy illness. He was the husband of Patricia Ann (Frawley) MacLeod for 39 years. He was born 60 years ago in Boston, the son of the late Basil and Olga (Madsen) MacLeod. He was educated in Boston, was a graduate of Stonehill College in Easton, and had been a Taunton resident for 31 years. He was employed as Personnel Director for the Burtman Iron Works in Hyde Park for 5 years. He was previously employed as a sales representative for Radio Shack (TFK) for 25 years. Mr. MacLeod was a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War, and was a recipient of the Vietnam Service Medal. He enjoyed photography, computing, his family genea- logy, and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. In addition to his wife, he leaves: 1 son: C. Matthew MacLeod of New Bedford 1 daughter: Patricia A. Robinson of Norton 2 sisters: Dorothy McNamara of Attleboro Jeanette Fitzgerald of Billerica 4 grandchildren several nieces and nephews Mr. MacLeod was also the brother of the late Marilyn Kelly, Kathleen Ward and David MacLeod. A Memorial Service will be held at The Riendeau-Mulvey Funeral Home, 467 Bay Street on Saturday, September 20 at 11:00 A.M. Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
