Brittany L. Heimer
July 20, 1990 - July 20, 2020

Brittany Leona Heimer was born on July 20th, 1990 in 29 Palms California. Brittany was the eldest child of parents Cathy and Glenn and sister to Zachary. Brittany grew up in Illinois for 10 years before settling back into California where she then attended Hillview Middle School and La Serna High School. Brittany was an exemplary student who enjoyed cheerleading, dancing, and keeping the company of her lifelong friends. Brittany went on to attend Cal State Fullerton & Fullerton College where she continued to compete in cheerleading at the competitive level. Brittany was a free spirit and quickly learned college was not the path for her, she went on to become a successful Supervisor in the spa industry for 5 years before she went on to meet her now husband Justin. In 2011 Justin and Brittany met while line dancing at a girl's night out in Fullerton at Incahoots Country Bar. Three years later Brittany and Justin welcomed the birth of their first son Brody in April of 2014. After almost 2 years of watching their first baby grow, they were blessed with their youngest son, Gavin who was born in January of 2016. Brittany was the epitome of strength. In the span of 6 years she battled pancreatitis, liver damage, gallbladder removal and most recently triple negative breast cancer before succumbing to Leptomeningeal disease in which the cancer traveled from the breast to the brain. No one could have predicted last July after Brittany was diagnosed that she would be taken away from us so soon after. Brittany's life was too short, and on July 20th, 2020, her 30th birthday, she passed away, leaving behind her husband, and two sons (ages 6 and 4). She had been a dedicated and formative wife and mother. She was also a loving friend, sister, sister-in-law, daughter, stepdaughter, and granddaughter. Brittany's bravery throughout her year-long battle with cancer was so inspiring. She constantly had a smile on her face and continued to find ways to make us all laugh and smile with her classic "Brittany Humor." She had such a big heart and her charisma had always shined so bright. Her beautiful smile, infectious laugh, gentle heart, and unconditional love is felt every day and the impact she left on the world will continue in the lives of her friends and family.
