Inez Lovell
February 13, 1942 - July 6, 2020

Mrs. Inez Arnold Lovell, 78, of Woodleaf, died Monday, July 6, 2020, at Forsyth Medical Center in Winston-Salem.

She was born February 13, 1942, in Davie County, to the late William Perry and Ella Magelene Rome Arnold. Mrs. Lovell was a member of Fairfield Baptist Church, Mocksville where she had been the childrens choir director, a Sunday school teacher and had served as an usher, Pastoral aid, and was on the Deacons and Missionary boards. She had organized three choirs that went to community churches to sing and praise. Mrs. Lovell had a true love of life, she loved all of Gods creations, and she never met a stranger; she was the community mom. For over 30 years, she had been the head cook at Millers. Mrs. Lovell had also been the head custodian at South Davie Middle School for many years.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Noil Herman Lovell; daughter, Bonnie Arnold; and several brothers and sisters.

Survivors include sons, Lester Arnold (Katie), Mike Arnold (Cynthia), Floyd Arnold, Joseph Arnold (Jackie), all of Mocksville, and John Arnold (Sheila) of Woodleaf; stepson, Deshawn Lovell; a sister, Beatrice Clement; grandchildren, Amber, Commeka, Michael, Jr., Floyd, Joey, Jamon, Jamiese, Jawaugn, T.J., Shirica and D.J.; numerous great-grandchildren; several great-great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; and special friends, Lori Ann Polk, Rosalee Arnold, and Charles and Patsy Crenshaw.

A celebration of her life will be conducted at 1 p.m., Thursday, July 9, at National Cemetery, Salisbury. Those in attendance at the cemetery will be required to social distance and wear a face mask.The family invites friends to come by Lambert Funeral Home, Wednesday, July 8, all day until 6 p.m. Due to COVID-19, the number of visitors in the building at one time will be limited.

The family will receive friends at 190 Goshen Boulevard Road, Woodleaf at 3 p.m., Thursday.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be considered for American Lung Association, 401 Hawthorne Lane, Ste. 110 #298, Charlotte, NC 28204.
