" My condolences to your family as you bereave for your dear loved one, Inez. If the dead are not to be raised up, neither has Christ been raised up. If Christ has not been raised up, our faith is useless and we remain in our sins. Those, then, who have fallen asleep in death in union with Christ has perished. If in this life all we have done is hoped in Christ, we are to be pitied more than anyone, as faith without works is dead. As Christ has been raised from the dead, the firstfruits of those who have fallen asleep in death, we too look forward to our resurrection. Please consider 1Corinthians 15:15-21 in your Bible reading. "
