"I never met Ed in person, but we spend a few hours on the phone figuring out one of his last hunting rifles over the course of a couple months back in 2018. I think we spend just as much time talking about family and sharing past hunting trips as we did figuring out his rifle. He seemed like a very genuine, humble and kind man. sincerely Jace "

"I first met Ed in the fall of 1987. He has stayed in my parents home it Atlanta. He was a rebel who wasn?t afraid to go up against the big guys. He was his own man He appreciated the area around Telluride, not just the town. There was definitely only one Ed Andrews and I admired and respected him very much. He led a very full life but died too young and I am very sorry for your loss. Charlie Simons Sea Island Georgia "

"Robin & Family: It?s with a heavy heart that I share my story of Ed . Three years ago I met Ed - competing against him in Florida Half Century softball . After a tournament , we went to lunch & got to know each other . We had an instant bond & I was drawn by his genuine love for life . Talking about his cancer , i was amazed at his positive attitude & conveyed that he was an ?inspiration ? to me . I was committed to keeping in touch & he became a ?brother? to me. After every tournament , I would engage in a prayer group & ask all ballplayers to pray for healing for my ?brother ?. Over the last few months, I tried to encourage Ed & shared the message of Jim Valvano - ? Don?t give up , Don\'t ever give up?. Due to my health issues , I have been unable to fly down to spend his last days with him. We talked about reuniting in Colorado , a place I?ve never seen . If you?re lucky, you meet one or two people in a lifetime that make an impression & hold a special place in your heart forever . That was my friend , Ed . As believers in Christ , we know this not the end & we will joyfully reunite in God?s majestic kingdom. I look forward to that day - to once again see my ?Brother in Christ? . R.I.P. my friend - If I can offer any help to the family , I would be honored to help in any way . Alan Guzzo 50456 Beechwood Ct Plymouth , Mi 48170 ( 734-389-3169 ) "
