Johnaton James Amaro
October 28, 1985 - July 11, 2020

Johnaton Amaro 34 years of age passed away July 11, 2020. Johnaton was born October 28, 1985 in Austin TX to Pefino Amaro and Dolly Bucy. He was the eldest of six children.

He is survived by his grandmother Laura T Herrera, Uncle Jesse Herrera, Parents Pefino Amaro, Dolly Herrera/George Bucy Sr. God Parents Benny and Ofelia Guerrero. Siblings Heather Amaro, Pefino Amaro Jr, Armando Herrera-Amaro, Jerry Bucy. Wife Valerie Amaro, Kids Othavion Tonche 17, Johnathon Amaro 15 Jayson Amaro 12, Janessa Amaro 5, Josselyn Amaro 2. Also 5 nephews 7 nieces and many Aunts, Uncles, and cousins.

He is proceeded in death by his brother George Jesse Bucy Jr, Grandfathers Francisco Kiko Herrera and Ramon Amaro, Aunt Michelle Cardova and Cousin John T Tijerina.

Johnaton was a loving father, husband, and friend. He loved riding his motorcycle, playing baseball with his cousins, fishing with his brothers and sons, traveling with his club and working on cars and motorcycles. He was a loyal and well-respected club member of the South Austin Bandidos Chapter and will be greatly missed.

Services will be held at Harrell Funeral Home of Austin on Monday, July 20, 2020 from 5-9. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at Dolores Catholic Church in Montopolis at 11 am on Tuesday, July 21, 2020. Burial to follow at Assumption Cemetery.

The Amaro and Herrera family want to thank everyone for their condolences, love, and support through this tough time.
