"My buddy since high school. So many great times RIP my brotha"
No Night Without You
By Helen Steiner Rice
There is no night without a dawning
No winter without a spring
And beyond the dark horizon
Our hearts will once more sing
For those who leave us for a while
Have only gone away
Out of a restless, care worn world
Into a brighter day.
"My buddy since high school. So many great times RIP my brotha"
"I was a classmate of Mark\'s back in 2004 when we both attended night class at Coleman College in La Mesa. We would make jokes about the teachers always just to get through the classes as they were pretty rough. Not in a mean way though, just having fun. He was one funny guy that\'s for sure. I\'m sorry that we had lost touch over the years, as we used to call each other on the phone and talk of the old Coleman days and the time we went to this taco shop near Helix High School that he would talk about having the BEST Cabesa burritos! It was the first time I had ever tried one. He would always say \"You have to try this Cabesa burrito it is so good!\" I finally did on a few occasions and it was pretty good! I know that he was a good son, because he was taking care of his mother at the time when I would talk to him on the phone. That right there spoke of great character. This morning when I woke up, I was just thinking about Mark and thought I would try and do a Google search today to see if I could find him. Now I\'m bummed out and sad. Ugh... Why do the good souls always go too soon... My condolences to Mark\'s family and friends. May God bless you and comfort you. Chris Connolly "
"The picture of Mark and the little girl is when he lived with my husband and I in England in the late seventies. He loved that little \"Angee doda bird.\" And she loved him. We all did. "
"The Yee\'s are all deeply saddened by the loss of our first cousin Mark. I remember the first time we met, in Boston, as children. And, he was always so sweet. The next time we met, as teenagers in San Diego, Mark rolled out the red carpet for me. He took me to an ice cream parlor, to the beach in La Jolla, to a disco with his friends, and to church the next morning. He even wrote to me in L.A. Mark was always very loving and devoted, especially to his Mother and younger brother. I remember seeing Mark at Cousin Louis\' wedding, and he told me that he was running a lot then. He was all in shape, and looked great. He said he enjoyed talking to cousin Gene, who entertained with some good stories. It was great when Mark and Aunt Dot spent a Thanksgiving Day with the Yee\'s in Van Nuys, CA, when my mother, Aunt Helen, was still alive. We had the best day together as a family. I\'m glad I got one last conversation on the phone with Mark. It was probably after Aunt Dot passed away. It was cool how we \"spoke the same language\". Of course, he had a great sense of humor. I remember he spoke highly of Cousin Val, who is a saint and does for everybody. We\'re just shocked he\'s no longer with us. And, it\'s truly hard to believe. He was super intelligent and impressive on so many levels, with his college degree, military service, travels, the arts, and his ability to reinvent himself. He even showed Aunt Dot around England. It does my heart good that he had a large presence by his Guamanian relatives on his Father\'s side. Uncle Tom was also very generous and gregarious. Mark will remain in all of our prayers, as will Aunt Dot, Uncle Tom and Cousin Vinnie. May God rest his dear soul. We will miss you. In Loving Memory Cousin Kim on behalf of Gene, Linda and Leo Yee, and 2nd cousin Ricky Rogers"

"I was born in England, and Mark was close friends with my parents, at the time of my birth. Almost all my young childhood memories (until age 8) included \"Crazy Uncle Mark\" as I called him. He will always be my dad\'s Darth Vader and no one ever made a better \"surgeon\" on a giggly little girl, just to entertain her. My heart goes out to his family. I am sending prayers and love across the states. God bless and keep you all in your time of grief. ~ Angela J McMullen~"
"If someone could email me, I have pictures during his military service. "
"I am so sad to hear this. Our condolences to his family. Mark and my husband I were stationed in England in the Air Force together. We were very close to him and I have been searching for him for two years. So very sorry. Jude Forsyth and Ed McMullen, Jr."
"Mark, I\'m sorry that I had no contact phone numbers of your cousins in northern California. They used to call me Marcy. We had lots of fun and good times together in Coronado. Marsha"
"Marsha Ochoa July 17, 2020 I remember when we still lived in Boston, I used to take you for walks in you\'re baby carriage. My Mother loved you very much. My Dad also he was your Godfather. He was very proud of you. \"Whoever believes in me has Eternal Life\" John 6:47 In Loving Memory Cousin Marsha (Las Vegas)"
"When I was 12 years old, my mother and I visited Aunt Dottie to meet her newborn baby, Mark. I remember telling Aunt Dottie that Mark was one of the most beautiful babies I had ever seen. In later years, whenever I was in Mark\'s company, I found him to be a sweet, kind-hearted gentleman. He was bright, articulate and possessed a great sense of humor. He\'ll be sorely missed by all who knew him. May God rest his dear soul. Loving cousin, Linda Yee (Los Angeles, CA)"
"My condolences, thoughts and prayers to the family and friends of Mark. We were very close as young boys when he was in Boston. I always looked forward to seeing him at Grandma\'s house. I will always keep those thoughts of you in my heart. RIP Mark Jim Henry (Cousin) Boston, MA"
"Mark Nicolas Tajalle was called home by our Savior on July 9, 2020. Mark was born in Boston, Mass to Tomas Tajalle and Dorothy Henry on June 20, 1957. In 1965 Mark\'s father retired from the Navy and the family relocated to San Diego California. Growing up Mark enjoyed playing sports; (especially basketball and wrestling). Education was always a top priority for Mark and he spent a lot of time studying. He was a devoted brother and son, and spent his free time with family and friends. Mark was a jokester and loved playing tricks whenever he had the chance. Mark completed his catholic education and graduated from Saint Augustine High School in 1975. He then joined the Air Force and was stationed in Gulfport, Mississippi. His travels included Germany and England. After Marks Military career, he returned home to San Diego where he spent the remainder of his life."
"Mark, I will forever cherish the childhood memories we shared. All the fun holidays spent together with family (especially Easter Egg Hunts!) bowling, skating and watching the Brady Bunch on Friday nights.
May you rest in the loving arms of Jesus...
Your Loving Cousin,
Val
