"I had the pleasure of getting to know Phyllis when I worked at Arbor Court. She was the sweetest lady! I always loved listening to her stories of California and her proud Italian heritage. God bless you Phyllis."

"I recognize that hair style, she was the best ever. Where to start, she was always so kind to all she came in contact with & was always surprising us with a little something for our station at the shop. I still use her sour cream cookie receipt for my family & remember her telling me it was hard to get them frosted of any of the kids were around. I also remember her spaghetti sauce & receipts she gave me. She gave me her book she made for her family & if my memory serves me one of the secrets was cinnamon. I will always remember this special, sweet lady & the BLESSING she was to all who knew it."

"Tasha, Daniel, Donna and Sharon..... I know your loss is deep but please know that she loved her family unconditionally. I will always remember how sweet she was to me and that she would NOT share her spaghetti recipe with me! May God comfort all of you through this time. My thoughts and prayers for all the family on Saturday."

"My sincere condolences to the family of Phyllis. Oh, how I loved her so! She was the light of my day being her nurse for the period I worked at Arbor Court. Every encounter I had with her she would leave me with that warmth that makes me fall in love with my job all over again. I'll miss seeing her room decorated for every holiday and the precision she had to always try to get me to let her sneak me chocolates. Joking with her to give me her best spaghetti recipe and how one day I was going to get out of these blue scrubs and stop letting her out fashion me. I'm so eternally grateful for the time I got to spend with such a beautiful person that extended within her family as well. I will carry her laugh with me forever. All my love."

"I will always remember fondly the warmth and support Phyllis and Sarge provided when we moved to Mt. Pleasant. What great people. Both are a testimony to what it means to be a standard for others. We'll miss Phyllis, but are happy that she is home with the Lord and in a better place. We'll be praying for the family this week and for Bradley as he preaches the funeral. RG and Wendy"
