"I am so sorry to hear of the loss of Helen. It is so difficult to deal with the loss of a loved one. The only true comfort that we receive comes from God's Word. He lovinly tells us why we die, the condition of the dead and then offers us hope. Death is an enemy and God promises us that he will do away with this enemy at 1 Cor. 15:26 "as the last enemy, death is to be brought to nothing". Isn't that a wonderful hope for us? Meanwhile, we can take comfort in knowing that our loved ones are resting in sleep, and if they are in God's memory, they will be resurrected in his due time."
