Gerald Lee Brack

Gerald Lee Brack 91, of Oakland MD, formerly from Galena and Baltimore MD, died on December 31, 2017 at Ruby Memorial Hospital.
Born on July 17, 1926 in Baltimore, MD, he was the son of the late Mildred Pauline (Bell) Brack and Thomas Lee Brack.
He was a World War II veteran serving in the United States Air Force. He was a route salesman for Tandy Corp from where he retired.
His first wife Betty Brack preceded him in death.
He is survived by his wife Ruby Grace Brack of Baltimore, MD; one daughter, Sandy Brack Miller and husband David of Bisbee, AZ; a son Gary Brack and wife Tawney of Oakland, MD; four grandchildren, Cody Brack and Cara Brack of Oakland MD., Jason Miller of Fort Collins, CO and Amie Miller Bissen of Hailey, ID, and four great grandchildren. He is survived by two sisters, Joyce Hankins and husband Pete of Charlotte NC and Gloria Trumbutas of Baltimore, MD ; one brother, William Brack and wife Doris of Hainesville, FL and many nieces and nephews. He is also survived by three stepsons , Phil, Mark and Stephen Goodwin; a stepdaughter, Judy Goodwin; and four step grandchildren, Ian Goodwin, Holly, Gregory and Sarah Nash all of Baltimore, MD.
Gerald loved visiting and vacationing at Garrett County and had done so since the early 1950s. He enjoyed living this last year with his son Gary, daughter- in-law Tawney, and grandchildren Cody and Cara. He spent many hours with his granddaughter Cara with whom he had a very special bond.
Interment will be at Garrett Memorial Gardens, Oakland,MD at a later date.
