Nola Lamont Hart, 54, of Morgantown, passed away Friday afternoon, May 27, 2016 in the Hospice Care Unit of Ruby Memorial Hospital, surrounded by her family and friends, after a viliant fight with cancer.She was born January 29, 1962 in Montrose, PA, a daughter of the late Joel R. Lamont and the late Marcella Thomas Lamont Osmond. She was also a step-daughter of the late Joe Osmond.Survivors include her husband, Thomas Brent Hart; two sons, Brent Thomas Hart and his fiance' Katrina Mengoli of Morgantown, and Lucas Lloyd Hart and his wife Tiffany of Ft. Drum, NY; three siblings, Timothy Craig Lamont and his wife Mary Ann of Elmira, NY, Tom Lamont and his wife Brenda of Montrose, PA and Barry Lamont and his wife Louise of Morgantown; as well as several nieces and nephews.Nola was a gifted and dedicated Registered Nurse, and was currently employed in that capacity in the Labor and Delivery Department of Ruby Memorial Hospital where she worked for more than 20 years.A Catholic by faith, she enjoyed taking long trips riding motorcycles. She was very tech savy, and enjoyed tinkering with her Facebook page, and playing online card games. She always enjoyed her yearly trips to the beach with her girlfriends, and spending time with her faithful dog, Max.Above all, being a mother and raising her two sons.was the most important thing in her life. She loved watching her sons play youth hockey and supporting them in all their endeavors. Friends are invited to join the family in honoring Nola's life and legacy at Smith Funeral & Cremation Care, 108 Holland Ave., Morgantown on Tuesday, May 31, 2016 from 2:00 - 8:00 PM and again on Wednesday, June 1, 2016 from 10:00 AM until the time of the funeral service at 11:00 AM.Following the funeral service, her family will honor her wishes for cremation to take place, and Nola will be laid to rest in an inurnment cermony at East Oak Grove Cemetery.To send personal condolences or other symbolic gestures, please visit www.smithfuneralandcremationcare.com.
