"As a nurse Denise was compassionate, caring, competent and always a team mate to her colleagues. I was fortunate to be able to have hired Denise into the Nursing Float Pool at Gundersen. I am so happy that I got to know her. Denise\'s spirit will live on in memories. Rosanne Schulz, RN"
"I really enjoyed working with Denise at Gundersen. She was always so helpfully, especially when I was new and learning. She was good to joke around with and I will miss her dearly."
"Nursing is a calling, a way of living. I honor Denise who is no longer with us and our life as a nurse. Denise is not remembered by her years as a nurse, but by the difference she made during those years by stepping into people?s lives, by special moments.
Denise, I honor you this day and light a candle to symbolize my honor and appreciation for being a nurse colleague.
Heather Iverson, RN"

"We are saddened to learn of Denise?s passing. A person who?s life was dedicated to easing the suffering of others, of subtracting from the misery of the world, of bringing peace, comfort and hope where it was so sorely needed. There is indeed a special place in heaven for the saints such as Denise. May the arms of Jesus now be her joy and comfort.

"I went to high school with Denise, where she aways put a smile on everyone\'s face. Over time we lost track of each other, but two years ago I gave birth to my little boy who ended up with lots of health challenges. After a few rough days, a familiar face walked into the room and asked if it was ok that she was assigned to us. I was so happy to see Denise and have a familiar face at the bedside. She took wonderful care of my little guy and I. I will always be thankful that she was there as an unwavering force during that difficult time. She was wonderful!"
"So very sorry to hear this. I worked with Denise in the hospital a few years ago. You All have my Deepest Sympathy~ RIP Denise "
"Oh, Denise! Niecer Piecer. Bestie. My sweet, sweet friend! I can?t believe you are gone. We shared sooo many milestones together. So many ups and downs (but mostly ups!) Our friendship never wavered. We balanced each other out, you were the Ying and I was the Yang (or however that saying goes). I will FOREVER cherish the 30 years of friendship I got with you. Some people search an entire lifetime and never find a friendship like ours. I?m so thankful for our memories, together. I will love you, always! RIP, until we meet again and save some shenanigans for me! Love, Ashley "
"Will never forget little laughs between SBAR at work and your hard work never went unrecognized. You could have had the worst day and not once would you complain. I?m sad to see such a sweet soul go. Rest In Peace. ??
