"RIP AUNT PENNY. Although our lives went in different directions, I thought of you often and wondered how you were. I wish we had been able to keep in touch. I haven't seen you since we were kids. I should have tried harder. For that I'm sorry."
Penny D. Helms, 65, of Fort Dodge, formerly of Dayton, passed away on Sunday, June 21, 2020 at Trinity Regional Medical Center.
A Visitation and Celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday June 24th from 4:00 to 6:00 PM at Laufersweiler-Sievers Funeral Home.

"Penny was a classmate of mine. She was determined and stubborn in her ways. haha. But she was a good and loyal friend. The last time I saw her she stopped at my house and we talked for probably a couple hours or more. I lost track of Penny after that unfortunately. So I'll remember the wonderful school and church days we had and especially our last visit at my house. God gained a feisty and beautiful angel!"
