Phillip Wayne Martin was born on March 17, 1958 at Balboa Naval Hospital in San Diego, CA. The second born and only son of Barbara William Martin. Born and raised in San Diego, California. Phillip attended Will C. Crawford High School where he participated playing his favorite sport of basketball.
