Funeral Services will be held Saturday, November 1, 2014, at 2:00 pm, at the LDS 18th Ward Chapel, 250 West 600 South, Lindon, UT. Friends and family may offer condolences for an hour prior to the services. Interment will be at Spanish Fork City Cemetery. Dennis Marvin Blakely,49, decided his time here on earth was over and it was time to return to his Heavenly Father after battling depression on October 15, 2014 in San Diego, CA. He was born to James and Ruth Blakely on July 30, 1965, in Barstow, CA. Dennis grew up in Blythe, CA, He moved to Spanish Fork, UT, in 1981. He married Melissa Gardiner and graduated from Spanish Fork High in 1983. They had 5 children. They later divorced. He was married to Lori Lefler from 1998-2008. He married Shana Thrasher in 2011. Dennis was an extrovert and the life of the party. He loved superman, scuba diving, surfing, the beach, reading, and riding ATV's. He had two dogs, Daisy and Dexter, that he loved and followed him everywhere. He was member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and had a deep love for his Savior Dennis is survived by his wife, children, Cody (Chelsey), Zach (Kara), Wyatt (Jessica), Dylan (Shayla) and Shaylyn, parents, siblings, Dave (Melissa), Diane (Don) Pittman, Doug (Tina), Dean (Tiffany), Don (Courtney), DeeDee (Eric) Anderson, Daryl (Elli), Debbie (Bryan) Kingsford, Dana (Bridgett), grandchildren, Tayler, Ryker, Draigen, Harrison, Skyler and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, James and Nona Blakely and Loring and Mildred Colman.
