October 22nd, 1952 - July 13th, 2013 Known as Jimmy with family friends, James Calloway, Jr. was born on October 22, 1952 in San Diego, CA. to the late James Warren Calloway, Sr. Delores Wilson. Jimmy was a young child when his family relocated to Compton, California. Jimmy graduated from Dominguez Hills High School in Compton, CA. where upon he immediately started working for the Los Angeles Unified School District up until he relocated back to San Diego in 1983. Ximed Medical Group, in La Jolla, CA. is where Jimmy worked for the last 21yrs in the Ximed Medical Group's Maintenance Department. Jimmy enjoyed working with all the doctors, nurses, and administrative staff so much that he adopted them as his second family as well as they did him and will be missed by all at Ximed Medical Group. Jimmy enjoyed music, dancing, and collecting vintage cars. But most of all Jimmy will be remembered for the time he spent with his family and how much he loved them all. His memory will forever be cherished in our hearts. Jimmy is survived by his four children Tina Calloway of Los Angeles, CA. Tashana, James III, and Teanna Calloway all of San Diego, CA. Four grandchildren: Jason Calloway of Los Angeles. Zamiyah, Kymorah Calloway, and Deandre Wilson all of San Diego. Three brothers: Twin Jerry Calloway, Frankie (Michelle) all of Los Angeles. Two sisters: Willamina (Joseph) Canty of Los Angeles, and Diane Calloway of Tampa, Florida. Jimmy also leaves behind a host of nieces and nephews, and his best buddy for life William (Billy) Cole of San Diego. Lastly, we honor the mother of Tashana, James III, and Teanna who was Jimmy's special love and will miss him immensely.
