I can't believe you are gone and deeply saddened I didn't get to see you again and talk to you before you went and gave yourself a damned heart attack!! I love you and will always cherish the times we had together; your friendship meant the world to me; still does and always will. This hurts. XOXO"

"I just learned of Marc's passing this evening when I attended class at City college where I have been on a journey with Marc in the radio department. We were together in every class since I began studying there and I considered him to be one of my closest friends in the department. His heart, talent and generosity will be so greatly missed. I can't describe the sadness I feel knowing that smiling face won't walk through our classroom doors anymore. I send condolences to his family. Marc was dearly loved!"

"I knew Marc back in Athens Ohio. We all lived like blissful sardines in Jan Bowman's house. Those we magical days full of meditation and going to see Guru Magaraj ji by the carfull. Marc was alqays the one to step up to do the dishes or whatever we all needed. I really beleive that if we finish the job we came to do here in this life, we can graduate early and I think that's what happened with Marc. He learned all he needed in this world and has gone on to his soul's journey."

So many will miss him dearly: me included. I'm sure he rests in happiness and peace - the way he lived."

"I had the good fortune to meet Mark several years ago and spend quite a bit of time with him and a group of friends over a few months. Since then, I've seen him occasionally and appreciated his joie de vivre. We weren't close friends, but I have always held him in the highest esteem because of his kind heart and gentle ways. I was shocked, appalled and deeply saddened to learn of his death."

"Marc made a difference in the life of everyone he touched. He made an imprint with his energy, and cleared a path with his light. You could be yourself with Marc and you could dream out loud without fear of judgement, he might laugh out loud at what you were saying... (in all sincerity)...at least you knew he was listening. I will miss our frequent outings and I will miss his wisdom. Most of all I will miss his arms, his contagious smile, and his ability to love me, in spite of myself. I am so grateful to have had Marc in my life. I will keep him with me in my heart as he will forever have his own place etched there. My condolences to his many friends and to his family. To Sasha, Brian and Bradley... your lives made him a proud and fulfilled man."
