Glenna Johnson
Glenna June Johnson passed away at home on July 29, 2018 in the company of her children. June was born in Prosperity, Missouri on February 27, 1922. She married Glen "Sandy" Johnson in 1941. Their first son, Patrick Dennis Johnson, died in infancy. WWII found her following Sandy to his various Navy assignments, ending up in Washington State. In 1950 they made the move to Marysville where they remained as long-time residents. She and Sandy raised four children, son Curtiss Johnson (Sharon), daughter, Janice Welch (Steve), daughter, Donna Johnson, and son, Patrick Scott Johnson. June's life centered around the home and her family. She was an active member of Marysville United Methodist Church and served in various capacities with Sunnyside Improvement Club for over half a century. The family will hold a graveside service at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, August 2, 2018 at Floral Hills Cemetery, 409 Filbert Road, Lynnwood, WA. In lieu of flowers memorial gifts may be made to Evergreen Health Found-ation, 12040 NE 128th Street, MS#5, Kirkland, WA 98034-3098 or visit www.evergreenhealthfoundation.com to support the Hospice program.
