"Lee was an important person in the life of my mother, Wilma Waters and our family, at the Rowley Masonic Home in Perry. Lee watched over Mom when we were not there to visit and was so kind to her. My sister and I enjoyed visiting with her many times at lunch when we were there to help Mom with her meal. I believe I met David one time when he visited Lee. She was always beaming when she had heard from him or talked to one or the other sisters on the phone. Lee will be missed by many. Linda McDowell"

Lee G. Thompson Allen passed away at Dallas County Hospital on June 30, ,2020. She leaves behind her son David Waynne Thompson. Two Sister Marvis Thompson Smith, and Ellen Gray Thompson both of North Carolina. One brother in law Chris Gersema. Two Sister in law , Jackie Sheapard Thompson and Gwen Kuzma Thompson. She is preceded in death by her parents Durwood Emanel Thompson and Delores Gray Silance Thompson and two brothers, Dolphus Thompson Sr. And Elbert Thompson and three sisters Marylee Thompson Jones, Hattie Thompson Gersema and Emma Thompson Cattermen Murphy.
