Bohdan Petryk, age 89, of Cumming, GA, passed away Thursday, May 28, 2020. Bohdan was born in Zolochiv, Ukraine on May 15, 1931. He proudly served in the United States Army during the Korean War from 1951 to 1953. He retired from Kearfott-Singer/ Aerospace Division after 26 years of service. Bohdan is preceded in death by his loving wife of 57 years, Irene B. Petryk.
He is survived by his 3 children, Don (Diana) Petryk, George (Teresa) Petryk, and Lisa Petryk-Neville (Jeff); 8 grandchildren, Michael Duka, Matthew Duka, Nicholas Petryk, Andrei Petryk, Marcos Petryk, Joseph Neville, Marianna Petryk, and Ivan Petryk; and 1 great grandchild, Misha Duka.
Funeral services will be held Monday, June 8th, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Ingram Funeral Home in Cumming, GA. Interment will follow at Georgia National Cemetery in Canton, GA. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, June 7th from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.
