Andrew Boyd Mullin, 80, of Ocala, Florida passed away on Tuesday, May 26, 2020 at home with his beloved wife Patricia. Andrew was born in Orange, NJ.
After graduating high school, Andrew enlisted in the Army. After serving our country he began working at Pittsburgh Plate Glass in Bloomfield, NJ. Andrew worked hard for his family and eventually retired as Plant Manager from Genlyte in 2002 and celebrated by skydiving. In his retirement he headed south so that he could enjoy golf year round. His most memorable day on the course was when he dropped a hole in one at On Top Of The World Golf Course in Ocala Florida. He also enjoyed playing softball and spent some time volunteering at a horse rescue in retirement. Andrew was a dedicated father of four who attended every event and volunteered as a football and baseball coach over the years. He was most proud of his title of Grandfather. He enjoyed spending time and teaching his grandchildren how to play golf and drive golf carts. Andrew lit up a room with his boisterous personality and was always ready with a witty joke. He is preceded in death by parents, Andrew Casper Mullin and Dorothy Mullin and his nephew Alan Deyo. Andrew is survived by his loving wife, Patricia (Bedford) Mullin of Ocala Florida; children, Brian Mullin (Jacalyn) of Lancaster, Pa, Karen Garibaldi (Edward) of Feasterville, PA, Keith Mullin (Jaclyn) of Phillipsburg, NJ, and Chrisopher Mullin (Caryn) of Nazareth, PA. Grandchildren, Emma, Calvin, Julia, Alyssa, Zackary, Kayla and Christopher. Sister Bonnie Deyo of Dover, NJ; nephew Scott Deyo and nieces Dawn DeBellonia and Cindy Deyo.
Services, yet to be scheduled, are being planned by Roberts of Ocala Funeral & Cremations, Ocala Florida.
