"Kevin was a true friend in many ways but he was not afraid to show you he didn?t agree with you as well. I have so many memories growing up with Kevin from 1st grade to senior year and his mom worked with my mom. One of Kevin?s favorite pastimes was to take his dad?s Chevrolet truck up to 50 mph and turn of the ignition and wait 5-10 seconds, turning on the ignition would make the raw fuel explode within the exhaust system. This was all fun and good until one day cruising on CR 13, he waited a little to long before turning on the ignition system, upon turning it on he blew off the muffler and tail pipe???.boy did he laugh that day. Kevin was a great teammate as well, during our senior year we play football/basketball/track together. It was the fall of 1980 and we were on defense on the football field. The offense was running over our nose guard Jeff Woitas and it was really pissing Kevin off. Upon the next play, Kevin grabbed the back of Jeff?s jersey and threw him over to right tackle position. Upon the snap off the ball, Kevin grabbed the center?s jersey and flew over him like superman. The quarterback did not know what hit him and was tackled for a 4 yard lost. Lessened learned by the offense???do not piss Kevin off!! Kevin was also a great hockey player just ask Brad Roeseler, he can attest to that! Rest in peace BIG GUY, Rich Bach "

"I hung out with Kevin in High School. I\'m a farily successful computer guy. It pained me that he didn\'t try academically, because I knew he was smart. I fucking saw it every night. My brother played MLB before Kev, my brother was good, but I will tell you, nobody played the position better than Kevin. He had a smooth footwork and he was big and loved to hit. I was thinking about boxing at one point, we went to Wells, watched Jamie Schull (sp?). got back in my truck, and Jamie\'s older brother was in front of us, talking to somebody, no biggie, but Slip Roeslerr, just reached over and bumped the horn, again, no biggie, but he took offense. We followed him to the trailer park north of Wells, tried to make apologies, and dude took a step tword me and Kevin hit him with one punch. It\'s like those pictures where you see a guy totally horizontal 3 feet above the ground. We left immediately, we were trying to say, \'hey sorry\'. Didn\'t work out. I have a million stories of Kevin, he was a true friend, He kicked the shit out of me a couple times too, but I never stopped loving him. RIP - KB, you earned it. "
