JOHN KENNEDY SPAGNOLO
February 20, 1965 - May 13, 2020

John K. Spagnolo, 55, of Richland and Marquette, passed away Wednesday May 13, 2020 at his residence in Marquette.

John was born on February 20, 1965 in Albion, Michigan, one of four children born to William and Sandra (Adams) Spagnolo. He was raised in Battle Creek.

John was formerly employed as Operations Manager at Lakeview Square Mall in Battle Creek and later went on to manage properties in Phoenix, Arizona.

While growing up he was active in hockey. He also held an interest in motocross, golf, skiing and grilling. He would even grill in the snow.

John is survived by two sons, Jacob of Battle Creek and Kaden of Arizona; his mother, Sandy and step-dad, Sid VanDyke of Richland, MI; grandchildren, Gabriela and Max VanGorder; one brother, Mark (Graciele) Spagnolo of Jacksonville, FL; two sisters, Mary (Vaughn) Spagnolo-Paul of Jacksonville, FL and Whitney Barbiere of Chicago, IL; also surviving are several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father, Bill Spagnolo on May 13, 2019.

A private memorial service for family members will be held at Canale-Tonella Funeral Home and Cremation Services.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred in John's memory to the American Cancer Society or the American Heart Association.
