"On May 28, 1977, I attended the Bill Graham Day On The Green concert at the Oakland Colliseum. On the bill was ARS, Heart, Foreigner, Steve Miller and The Eagles. The first band up was ARS. They played a great set. But what got the audience going was "Another Mans Woman" with Paul's amazing bass solo. On the strength of Paul's solo, I became a huge fan. I am still riveted to it 40 years later. RIP Paul Goddard."

"I can remember first seeing Paul play guitar in East Rome High School's "Who's Who". I followed his career and to this day play ARS music several times a week. I am proud to say I knew him and Rome, Georgia should be proud of our home town boy who made it to the top.My thoughts and prayers to his sister Nan.Marvin N. Richards"

"Paul was from my hometown Rome, Georgia. He was my southern music hero. Small town boy made good. Real good. I recently purchased "ARE YOU READY!" and listen to it as if it were yesterday. You will never be duplicated and it was a thrill for me and my wife Amy to be able to meet you at your last gig right here in your old hometown- Rome. Godspeed Paul."
