"Steve, you will be missed by many, myself included. I'll always remember the good times spent in your company from Phil and my wedding in 1975 until the last time we had dinner at your place. You sure know how to make a grill produce magnificent food. I bet your up there cooking for Lucy and Omie now. You left way too soon. I remember at Johnny's funeral you saying that you didn't want a funeral. I think you would have been proud looking down on your memorial service. Bev did a great job."

"Bev wraped his arm Friday night before she left so he would not pull out his IV. A little while later, he started pulling it off, and got upset when we tried to stop him, so he held it in his hand, and pondered his acoplishment. After deep thought he laid it back on his arm like Bev would not notice it. Love ya Steve"
