"I'm sorry I won't be able to attend My Brothers Interment service. I'm grieving the passing of my brother, I've become sick. I want to extend my heartfelt condolences to his immediate family. We've lost a Father, a son, an Uncle, a cousin, a very loved man by his family. I last saw Jerry in 2008. He looked healthy and handsome as always. He left us too soon and I want to remember him as he looked the last time we were together. He was very couragous never once complaining of his untimely illness. He is with his Mother and Father now. I pray he is at peace. Love always and forever your sister Belinda."

"Hi Joey. Wendy Bricker here... I will definitely let you know when the memorial service will be..... taking Jerry's military discharge paperwork to the funeral home this evening (just got a copy yesterday) so that a date and time can be finalized by tomorrow."

"Jerry was a dental patient of mine for a number of years. Although we have not seen him in several years, we think and talk about him often. He was definitely a "character " and I know his family will miss him. It does not surprise me that Jerry lived longer than was expected. He always liked to keep people on their toes. I would appreciate it if someone would let me know when a memorial service is planned. Joey Lamblambdds@mindspring.com"

"I would like to send my condolences to everyone for the loss of a great man. He is still with us in spirit. Jerry is my uncle and I wish we lived closer but I am very glad that we did get to spend the weekend with him 2 summers ago in Georgia. He used to come up to Myrtle Beach every year with Little Jerry (when he was actually little) when I used to live there. So proud of "Little" Jerry for graduating this week. Your Dad is extremely proud of you as well. Uncle Jerry was an amazing Uncle, Father, Friend, and overall great person. I know if we lived close to each other, he would have been like a second father to me. I miss him and love him tremendously. Love,Meatball (that was his nickname for me when I was a fat baby, haha)AKA - Derek"

"My name is Lisa Bricker, I am Uncle Jerry's niece & goddaughter. I was in my car with my mother & aunt (his sisters) on my way down to GA to see him, hoping to say goodbye. I didn't make it in time. We got the phone call on our way down. I am incredibly heartbroken that he is no longer with us, however, I am grateful he is no longer suffering. Five years ago he was told he had only a year, & he fought it for so much longer. If you knew Uncle Jerry, aka "The Big Cheese", you know that it wasn't his style to go without a fight & enjoy his son's teenage years & his family for a few years longer. Uncle Jerry & I were always very close, and as I got older he would treat me more like a sister, asking me not to call him Uncle Jerry in front of the ladies, cuz they would think he was old & I would scare them away!!! We would just crack up at that!!! If you know me....you know I called him Uncle Jerry regardless.....cuz I was so proud to have him as my uncle. I would drive him nuts & we would get a good laugh out of it. Uncle Jerry was the 1st person to ever give me a ride on a Harley, when I was 10. 90 miles an hour!!! Amazing, just how he lived life sometimes, in the fast lane.....until he had his amazing son, my cousin, JR. I'm still getting used to calling him JR. They were so close & I'm so grateful for both of them. Uncle Jerry will live on through him & i will cherish that & every memory we ever made together. I still have such a love for bikes & have a lot of biker friends, & that's cuz of him. I am Derek's sister, (the guy above), & we took that trip together 2 summers ago & I am going to post pics of it on this site. Please take the time to look at them. I love you Uncle Jerry, & will miss you so unbelievably much. You are at peace now. I'm sure of that.Love,Pizanna (His Italian nickname for me, I'm half Sicilian, & he enjoyed making fun of me!!) AKA.... your loving niece & goddaughter, Lisa Bricker."

"The world will certainly be a lesser place without Jerry. I was fortunate enough to know Jerry for the last 17 years. He was the one who gave me the start in the job I have today and was a fantastic friend. I had sooo many good times with him it's just flooding my brain. I think he really lived his life to the fullest and I'm so glad that he lasted longer than was predicted. Although if you know Jerry, you're really not surprised. I look forward to gathering in his remembrance sometime soon and I'll leave my personal email here if someone would please contact me: bassn40guy@gmail.com. Jerry gave me my favorite nickname, Billy Badd. God bless a great man. Cheers Jerry! Love, Billy Badd"
