Peggy Ann Pirkle, age 53 of Gainesville, Georgia passed away October 25, 2010, following an extended illness. She is the daughter of James and Jonell Pirkle.

She is survived by her son, Roy Dale Knowles Jr. of Dawsonville, GA; daughters, Stephanie and (Brandon) McKenzie of Gainesville, GA, Jessica Knowles of Dawsonville, GA and Kimberly Knowles of Yulee, FL; six brothers and five sisters, J.R. Pirkle of Unadela, GA, J.D. and Cheri Pirkle of Oakwood, GA, J.A. Pirkle of Dawsonville, GA, J.C. Pirkle of Gainesville, GA, J.T. and (Barbara Pirkle) of Flowery Branch, GA, J.B. Pirkle of Gainesville, GA, Eva Jones, Janell Jones of Gainesville, GA, Diane and Daryl Propes of Flowery Branch, GA, Marie and (Loyd) Jones , Linda and (Clifton) Halsey of Gainesville, GA; grandchildren, Brooke Clark, Dylan Mann, Hailey Lumpkin, Ethan Knowles, Kameron McKenzie, Damien Craig, James Barker and Mathew Barker. She was blessed to have a large number of nieces and nephews. Special life friends Debbie Daniels, Bo Hughes, Mike Hess, Billy Fox and a host of friends from Wrightsville Manor Nursing Home.

The family will receive friends at the Funeral Home on Wednesday October 27, 2010 from 4pm 9pm. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday October 28, 2010 at 2PM at Mayfield Baptist Church, Cumming, Georgia with interment to follow at the church cemetery.
