"Jeff has been my friend since 1982. We met at Boston University. Jeff and I were both in each other's wedding parties. Jeff was very special to me! He was like a brother who always knew when to call. We had a special connection, with in three days of thinking of each other, one of us would call the other! I will miss my friend very, very much! I am saddened for this loss. Rest in Heaven Jeff with you Dad! Prepare the way for all of us! Until we meet again! God bless you Laura, Sandy and Sarah! Jimmy Bardwil"

"Cant believe such a kind and gentle man is gone. I had the pleasure of working with Jeff for 13 yrs. Always had that big smile on his face and a friendly greeting each and every day. He was the go to guy at NCQA, I found myself constantly asking him questions, for his wealth of knowledge was impeccable and he wasnt afraid to tell you if he didnt have the answer. I will truly miss my friend. Rest In Peace."

Hal Eilert wrote on Jan 8, 2019:

"Kettler (by me he was almost always addressed solely by his surname because he was that kind of singular person who could not be encompassed by the prosaic "Jeff") made the world a better place just by being here. Everyone who knew him got to see the passion he brought to daily life, and if they were lucky they were able to experience his artful wit. He was one of the first people to welcome me to the FedEx Family and I can truly say that the solicitude he showed me from that day that continued over the next 18 years made me a better person. I cannot express my appreciation for him enough, and my thoughts are with the entire Kettler family during this trying time."
