"There are no words that can quell an aching heart - - May the kind and heartfelt actions of others, the exchange of stories and remembrances, and the countless recollections of this beautiful lady help to diminish that ache and help to quell your aching hearts. While the form of her body has changed, her spirit obviously lives on and continues to touch others in a very powerful way."

"Being John's cousin, I did not know Mitzi as well as I know John. However a few things became very clear with every interaction, story, or personal experience that I had; the love and dedication for her family could be the standard that anyone should strive for. Mitzi put only God before her daughters and husband. There is nothing that she would not do for her family and she proved it every day. I know that God gave John the woman that made him a better person and the woman that he had searched for. I know that the love, compassion and faith that Mitzi had will live on in her precious daughters. Mitzi gave her all so that those that she loved could go on. She will be there preparing a homecoming for each of her loved ones when the time comes for them to reunite in their heavenly home. God bless Mitzi, John, Jade, and Samantha. May God comfort all those that will have a hole in their lives until they see her again."

"Mitzi was such an inspiration. She never came to visit me without bringing me a gift of appreciation. She was the first one to clean the kitchen when her family was a guest at our home. She will always be in my thoughts when I visit her favorite beaches here in Florida. She loved the sand on her toes!!! RIP my dear and we will join your happy smile when we enter the gates of heaven where you will be waiting."

"Mitzi, I will never forget all the fun, crazy conversations we had in school. Every time I think about you, accounting class comes to mind. It was a fun class. You were a very strong woman and are an inspiration to me. You will truly be missed by many. I will be praying for your sweet family."

"Our hearts are saddened by the passing of Mitzi. I know she was a wonderful wife to my nephew John, and a fabulous mamma to my great-nieces. She was such a brave strong person who influenced so many people through her struggles. I'm glad she is out of pain and in a better place, but don't understand why these things have to happen. She was way too young and had so much more life to live. I know John will be strong and step up to all his responsibilities in the coming days watching over his precious girls. He will do it for Mitzi!! We love you John, Samantha and Jade. Aunt Angie and Uncle Mark"

"I met Mitzi when we were in 6th grade. We were 11 years old. We instantly became best friends. We spent every weekend together. All-night skating, staying up super late eating ALL of Mrs. Judy's pound cake with butter, birthday parties, turtle stew, softball in the front yard, Lincoln her dog, getting shot at behind her house when they were building the lake, riding in her daddy's jeep to go find that man, and so much more. She has always been a wonderful friend. I went through some rough times, moved a lot, but Mitzi NEVER left me. She always found me. I am going to miss her deeply. I love you, Mitzi always & forever!!!!"

"Mitzi was the best friend I have ever had. We have known each another for twenty one years and though we didn't see each other every day we still remained best friends throughout those years. Our friendship meant so much to me and she was always there for me and I was always there for her. We went to prom together, she was the maid of honor in my first wedding, was there when my daughter was born, helped me with my second wedding and was there for me when my mother was dying of cancer. She will be missed by so many and she is loved by so many. My heart goes out to her family and may they find peace and comfort in knowing she is no longer suffering and with our Lord."

"Mitzi, I never had the pleasure of meeting you. However, the stories I heard and love Shannon, Tim, Jeff, Taylor and the boys had for you made me wish I had. I am glad your pain is over and our Lord has given you the peace you deserve. I hope the Jennings's family knows that she will always be loved and never forgotten. If there is anything your family needs please do not hesitate to ask. Your family means so much to them. You will continue to be in my prayers that this very difficult time is some how easier for everyone."

"Mitzi, you are truly a blessing to us all. I will forever remember the love and joy you showed to everyone. I will also remember those doughnuts you always had to give my son. But most of all I will remember the warrior you were. You were so strong and fought with such bravery! You were an amazing woman and you proved that to everyone you met! You are gone from this Earth, but will forever be in our hearts!"
