Teresa Lynn Riley was born December 23, 1956, in Mesa, Arizona, to Roy Dean and Darlene Rosalie (Davidson) Marshall. She passed away on December 28, 2019, in Los Angeles, California, following a massive Stroke. She was 63 years of age.

Teresa spent her early years on a farm in Colorado. The family later moved to Tempe, Arizona, where she attended school at Gilland Jr. High and Marcos de Niza High School. She went on to study at Pacific Baptist Bible College in San Dimas, California, and Cerritos College in Cerritos, California. Teresa earned her Bachelors degree in Education and taught for 40 years. She loved teaching, as it was so rewarding.

While at Bible College, Teresa met the love of her life, Myron E. Riley, Jr. They were married on August 4, 1976, in California, and were blessed with two daughters, Rachel and Rebekah. Teresa was a devoted Pastors wife for over 40 years, serving in Riverside, Lake Elsinore, Gardena, and Norwalk.

Reading, genealogy, gardening, flower arranging, puppeteering, crafting, and doing puzzles were among Teresas favorite hobbies. She also found great joy in playing the piano and singing. She was firm in her faith of Christ and was a member of the Independent Baptist Church. She also served as a volunteer for the LA County Sheriffs PRIDE mentoring group for at risk teens. Above all else, Teresa loved and adored her family and enjoyed nothing more than spending time with them.

"Teresa was such a special lady! I went to PCBBC with her, and I also lived in Norwalk. Even though we didnt go to their church, our churches got together on special occasions. I enjoyed watching the livestream of her memorial service, and hearing more about her life when she was younger."

"I met Teresa and really got to know her at her yard sale for the church. She had been mowing and trying to do some clean up to get things ready. I had stopped in and checked out her items and bought quite a few things. She had books for sale also and that got her to talking about who she liked and she said, that maybe she should check out a few herself to see if there were any she might want to keep for reading later. Then we talked about children and grandchildren. When she found out my husband had neck surgery she offered to take me to the store or wherever I needed to go. I thought what a special lady Teresa is, and I thanked her and told her I had that covered pretty good. She said that if I needed help to just let her know, I told her OK. It was at that time she told me about the sale of the property and that they had found a home and that she wanted to turn the garage into something that she could do things with the kids from the church. My husband and I went to her service and I thought it was a wonderful get together to celebrate her home going. There were a lot of people there. Teresa was a special lady and it is my fault that I didn't know her better than I did. I thought her service was very nice and what a beautiful young lady she was, no wonder Myron fell in love with her. She was truly beautiful inside and outside."
