"Donnie ?"
Donald Eugene Directo, III, known by all as Donnie, was born in Whittier, California on December 10, 1983 to Donald Eugene Jr. and Eileen Louann Directo. Donnie grew up in Big Bear, California and attended Big Bear High School before moving to and graduating from La Mirada High. After high school, Donnie attended DeVry University and studied electrical engineering. He went on professionally to work as an assistant miller.
Personally, Donnie had many achievements. He became a proud father and was able to carry out his namesake with the birth of his son, Donald Eugene Directo, IV. He also had many hobbies which were very important to him. Line dancing was something he enjoyed, and the hobby changed his life dramatically when he met a young woman named Amy Graham. On May 4, 2013 the couple was married in Las Vegas, Nevada. A few short years later, Donnies second son, Brayden David, was born.
In addition to line dancing, Donnie enjoyed softball, golfing, bowling, riding motorcycles and snow boarding... mostly, he enjoyed life on the go!
Tragically, on Saturday, April 11, 2015, Donnie passed away in Orange County, California. Though his life ended suddenly, he impacted many people and touched many lives. He is survived by his wife, Amy Directo, his two sons, Donald Eugene Directo, IV (10), Braden David Directo (3 Mons.), parents, Donald Jr. and Eileen Directo, brother Michael Ryan Directo, sister, Ashley Nichole Directo, grandmother, Dorothy Allemand and many extended family members and dear friends.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, April 18, 2015 at 1:00pm at Olive Lawn Memorial Park in La Mirada, California. Due to limited parking at the cemetery, please park along Alicante Street just to the south of the cemetery.

"Spent a lot of time with Donnie at Scratch and also our softball teams in La Mirada. But my favorite memory is we had a poker night at my place, and Donie was out of money pretty fast. Squid, B-Rad Pinky and some others stilll had money and he wanted to play so bad. He was asking us for money and we were all laughing so hard. He called his brother to bring him some more money. It took him a good hour to get there. Well he now has money and is talking trash how we will all be broke soon. Well ten minutes later.....he is out of money again. You left us all too early bro.
