Donald Layton Hawkins was born on August 31, 1932 in Clarksburg, West Virginia, to Donald and Lura (Layton) Hawkins. He passed away in La MIrada, California, on August 25, 2014, at the age of 81.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 6, 2014, 11am, at White Emerson Mortuary, 13304 E Philadelphia Street, Whittier, California, 90601.
Interment will follow at Olive Lawn Cemetery, La Mirada, California.
