"My God, I stumbled upon this news accidentally and it's so sad to see. I love Doc Glad. He was a wonderful man and a very dear friend. He and his family felt like my own, but where has the time gone. Thanks Doc, for everything you did for me....Love to Nita and the family"
"I first met Doc in 1977 as my first chiropractor. Am so sorry to hear he died, but wondered when his Christmas card was returned to me in January of '13. He was always so warm and welcoming to his patients, made us feel part of his family. Love and comfort to Nita, and the rest of you. Love from Mary Fox (Villa)"
"We just found out that Dr. Glad passed away in 2012 and are very sad by the news. Dr. Glad was my first chiropractor. I was only 12 years old and he helped my scoliosos. Dr. Glad was the first chiropractor in La Habra and the surrounding area, long before anyone knew what chiropractic was. He was great at what he did and paved the way for other chiropractors. And, I married a chiropractor! Rest in peace, Dr. Glad. Lisa Frankenfeld (Hood)"

"My heart saddens at the loss of this beautiful soul. I have known him since I was 17 when he was still a young doctor. In most recent years he became my doctor and my friend. I last him last year and you looked great. He made me laugh in 2009 when I had to go to him for my back and didn't know what was wrong. After he asks questions turns out if we don't use our body in a certain way for more than year we can ache from it. :) He was so funny and I will never forget all his words of wisdom and his advice on how to live with a healthy body. May he rest in peace always and May His wife Nita and all his family have Peace always. My family and i will miss you Doc."
"I just learned of the passing of this truly unique and wonderful man. I was fortunate enough to meet him when i was a teenager and spent my early 20s with him in my circle of life. I am truly saddened to know that his light is no longer here on earth. My love and codolenses to Nita and the kids. Rose Newbold"
"The man was human. The man was good. The man was a healer (pure and simple) RIP Dr. Glad"
"Dear Nita, Tig, Micah, and Family, I have very few memories of my early childhood. I believe simply because it is too painful to remember. However, I do have very vivid and very fond memories of spending many weekends at your house during a very difficult time in my life. I can remember playing on the trampoline, swimming, movie nights in the T.V. room, and endless ice cream. I believe this is where my love for Cherry Jubilee Ice Cream came from. Most importantly though I can remember feeling carefree the way a child should at that age. Being that my own father was not around I looked to Godoy as a father figure. Both Nita and Godoy had a way of making my sister and I feel so loved and a part of the family. I can remember telling my friends that 'I was going to my God Parents house. Although as I got older I realized technically they were not my God Parents, but God had placed them in my life when I needed them most. One of my favorite memories is when Godoy took me out on the balcony and pointed to the brightest star in the sky. He told me that the star was mine and he had bought it for me. I can remember feeling like I was the most special little girl in the world to have my very own star. Even as an adult on a clear night I sometimes look in the sky and find that star and just giggle to myself. Now that star will have a different meaning though. I will now look into the heavens and know that the brightest star is Godoy watching and smiling down on all of us. I was so fortunate to have Godoy and Nita attend my wedding 8 years ago. I only hope he knew that in some way he played a part in the women I have become. Nita I want to say thank you from the bottom of my heart for always making us feel so loved. Tig and Micah thanks for the great memories and sharing your Dad with two little girls who needed it! He will forever live on in my heart and memories. Love, Tyler Appeldorn"
"Soar with the Angels my friend. Godoy, you were an amazing, thoughtful and caring man. I will always be thankful to you and your beautiful wife Nita, taking me under your wing...Nita, you being my coach to deliver my son Kyle, the private in home deliveryclass and baby shower....All out of the kindness of your hearts. That's what Dr. Godoy Glad was about...Giving and never asking for anything in return.....Nita, Mitch, Parris, Tig, Micah and family my heart and prayers are with all of you. Love, Cheryl Tindall"
"Dear Nita, and family. I was so saddened to hear of Godoys passing. You all must be so heart broken. I had the pleasure of know him from about the age of 3, have a scare on my leg from one of the custom bikes he used to make in his garage. Mitchie & Parris... We used to have so much fun playing grocery store in your drive way. And swimming in the pool under the big bubble that covered the pool. Trampolining in the back and oh my gosh the Tiki hut.... Your dad did so many awesome things for you. Nita I remember meeting you and he said this is the love of my life. I remember spending time with you and Doc at Jamie & Juanita's. Great time had by all. I only met the younger kids a few times in Fullerton. Looking through the picture. He must have been the most awesome Grandpa. He always looks so happy. I'm sure he is smiling down on all of you. Knowing you have a rough road ahead. But proud of each and every one of you. Thought and prayers are heading your way. The Buzoff's will cherish our memories of him.. God bless you all. Joanne Buzoff Neel"
