Jesse Gilbert Stevens was born November 19, 1976 in Montebello, California. He passed away December 17, 2011 in Paramount, California.'Big Jess', as he was affectionately known by many, grew up in the Santa Fe Springs area. He attended Los Nietos Jr. High School and graduated from St. Pius High School.Jesse loved sports, especially golfing, football, and baseball. Though an avid fan of the Raiders, Dodgers and Lakers, his greatest fan support went to his children, nieces and nephews. He was extremely supportive of them. His support is best demonstrated by his involvement in the Rivera Baseball Association and the Twin Cities Wolverines youth football and cheer organizations. Outside of sports, Big Jess most enjoyed spending time with his family--going to the movies, the annual Monster Trucks show, playing XBOX, and the list goes on. He also like going to the lake at Laughlin and Havasu each year. Jesse is survived by his wife, Claudia; children, Elena, Mya, Gabriel, and Sofia; mother, Gloria Stevens; grandmother, Jessie Arrieta; and numerous in-laws, nieces and nephews. A viewing will take place from 5:00 - 8:30 pm on Wednesday, December 28, 2011 at White Emerson Mortuary, 13304 E. Phildelphia St., Whittier, CA 90601. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:00 a.m. the following morning, Thursday, December 29, 2011, at Our Lady of Perpetual Church, 8545 S. Norwalk Blvd., Whittier, California 90606.

We have watched our kids grow up and laffed and had some great times and conversations.
