John Donald Krebsbach
July 8, 1913 - June 4, 2011

Mr. John Donald Krebsbach was born and raised in Esmond, North Dakota. John's father owned a barbershop/store with pool tables where many family times were enjoyed.Following high school he attended Moorehead State Teachers College. He then taught at Ft. Totten Indian Reservation before returning to further his education at North Dakota Teachers College, where he graduated with a Masters Degree.After serving our country in the United States Navy, John married Frances Elizabeth Agnes O'Brien in 1948. With his construction skills, he built them a home in Whittier, California, on property that Frances owned. John would often say, 'she started me out'. He drew the plans for the house, and did all the construction on the home as well as the electrical and plumbing installations. They have lived in the home he built from 1958 until his passing. John taught at La Habra High School from 1954-1975. He was a devote Catholic and demonstrated his strong faith through his actions and church attendance.John was a self taught violinist and played for his own enjoyment.He was an extraordinary man and his presence will be greatly missed.Mr. Krebsback is survived by his daughter Lucinda Ferguson; grandchildren, Brandon, Tiffany and Shannon.
