Roger Cupp wrote on May 10, 2017:

"Ive known Henry practically my whole life. He and my parents were close friends for over 50 years, starting back in the Bethany Baptist Church days in Whittier. My Dad (Joseph L Cupp, Sr.) and Henry went on fishing / camping trips each summer for many years. After Dad and Mom moved to Rockford, Illinois, Dad and Henry stayed in contact by phone, and occasional visits. Dad often told me before he died (12/2/09) that he met many people throughout his life, but very few could be called a true friend. Henry was a true friend to Dad, as Dad was to Henry. They last saw each other in May of 08 wen I brought Dad to California for a final visit. God bless Henrys family, and I take comfort in knowing Dad and Henry are together in Heaven. Roger Cupp"

Cynthia (Cindy) West wrote on May 10, 2017:

"As children growing up we visited our Uncle Henry, Aunt Helen and cousins, Mary and Virginia, every Sunday and it was something that seemed to be taken for granted all those years. Now our families have grown up and moved away and spending quality time together is not the given that it once was. In times like these we realize how much we miss our family. Im so thankful I visited last September. And I pray that I stay close to Virginia and to Mary and her family for the lifetime we have ahead. Uncle Henry had a wonderful life, full of so much more than I realized. And he had a great deal to do with the way I spend my cherished time in this life. He so very obviously touched many lives during his time here and he will be truly missed. Until were all reunited..."
