Lynne Haunani Nauahi Davis was born August 7, 1967 in Honolulu, Hawaii to John Nauahi Sr. and Barbara Pukahi Nauahi. She passed away Wednesday, March 17, 2010 in Fullerton, California.Lynne grew up in Laie, a small town on the North shore of Oahu Hawaii. She attended Laie Elementary School and graduated from Kahuku High School in 1985. She then moved to Provo, Utah to live with her sister. In her own words, 'I did a little bit of college [Stevens Henager College] and alot of enjoying life (partying).'In 1987, Lynne went to La Habra, California to visit with her sister. She loved it. She instantly made friends because of all her cousins that lived there. She decided that La Habra is where she wanted to live, and she has been there ever since.Lynne also met her husband, Edwin Scott Davis, in La Habra. They were married February 1, 1992 in La Habra and later sealed for time and eternity in the LDS Salt Lake City Temple. Together they had 2 boys, Kody Kaleikaumaka and Konner Kamea'i'omakae. Lynne loved life! In her own words, 'I love to kick it at home with the ohana or hang out with my girlfriends. I love to watch sports with my husband, and go against him...I like all sports. The best that I enjoy playing is Volleyball and Basketball. I love to travel if I can afford it...I would love to visit New York City and Chicago to see Ms. Oprah.....also to visit many of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints Sites all over the United States.....I love all music, especially Hawaiian, Jawaiian, Raggae, and slow jams.....'Lynne was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. She held many callings and served others lovingly.Viewing will be held from 2:00-2:45 pm on Saturday, March 20, 2010 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 2351 W. La Habra Blvd., La Habra, California. A Service will immediately follow at 3:00 pm. Interment will take place on Friday, March 26, 2010 in the Laie Cemetery in Laie, Hawaii. Once again in Lynne's words, 'Although I list La Habra as my hometown, I truly love my growing up life and will always treasure that little town.
